We spent another relaxing weekend in St. George. A few days with the boys is just what I had been craving.
I've always loved flying. Weird right? No one loves flying, but I really love it. When I'm going on a trip with someone I almost look forward to the time on the airplane more than anything else. Well I finally figured it out. I had an epiphany, and realized that the reason I love flying is because I have whoever I am with totally cornered. I love chatting, and the only thing better than chatting, is chatting without distractions. There's nowhere to go, no interruptions (except for maybe the offering of a bag of peanuts by the stewardess) , no excuses just lots and lots of time to chat with moi. I have a similar fondness for road trips. There's not much I enjoy more than a drive with sunflower seeds in Treav's lap, my feet on the dash bored, a snoozing Owey boy in the back and four whole hours for me to talk Treavor's ear off. And that's what I did.
Along with chatting we were able to hike, swim, shop, run, watch movies, eat good food (don't be surprised if the next time you see me, I have turned into a peanut butter m&m), hang out with friends who also happened to be there, take lots of walks, golf (not me of course), and enjoy the company of Treavor's parents. Owen couldn't get enough of "mama" and "papa" and the warm weather.

Sara, that sounds heavenly. That's so cute about the flying and driving. I'll have to try and look at it like that and then I bet I'll like it more. Which is why you need to book a flight to SF now!

I feel the same way about car trips! I love being able to corner Brady with no distractions and just talk his ear off :)
