five.

Tomorrow will mark five weeks for little Lewis on this earth. He has been a piece of heaven. Although some major colic has kicked in and we spend about 98 percent of our time walking, bouncing, pacing, singing, feeding and wondering how to help what may be causing his heart breaking cry, we just can't get enough of him.

Here's to five weeks of loving Lewis

Flip

Treavor had the opportunity to work on a major fixer upper with his Dad. He loved it. When Treavor is fixing, building or designing he is completely in his element, and it was fun to watch him doing what he does best. This transformation took place in just two and half months! I think it turned out great! If you know anyone who's looking for a charming 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in Orem, tell them to look no further.

A few of my favorite features:
  • granite counter tops
  • spacious cabinets
  • a large garage
  • a squeak in the hardwood floor :)
  • great backyard with a huge tree
  • fabulous neighborhood

She was right

The day before Lewis was born, Owen and i were out running errands. As we walked into a store an older women slowly walked toward us in the parking lot. She glanced back and forth from a scruffy Owen with his winter boots on the wrong feet to my waddling, ready-to-pop belly . I could see a beaming smile on her face from far far away. When we got closer she looked me in the eye and said enthusiastically "lucky mama!". I'm guessing she was remembering the day when she was a lucky mama to scruffy little toddlers. She was right! I am one lucky mama.

Sweet Lewis,
You came into the world on a gloomy, cozy Thursday. I will never forget the speed at which you came, the way you took my breath away, and how you brought me to tears. You greeted me with the surprise that you're a boy, a loud healthy cry and a warm body. You are cuddly and irresistibly kissable. You are long like your brother and Daddy. You have long fingers and toes, long legs and arms. You have dark fuzzy hair, that is indescribably soft after a bath. You love to be cozy and snuggled, and you eat...well, all the time.
I love you baby Lewie, and words can not describe the joy that you bring. My life is so blessed with two beautiful boys.
