What Owen's been up to...

Visiting Dad at work. Owen loves it! It's like he knows it's a rare experience to see him during the middle of the day.

Discovering how big his mouth is, and putting large objects in it.

Sleeping really hard and waking up with bed head. He usually wakes up at 7:30, crawls for two hours straight and then is exhausted by 9:30 for his morning nap. He gets faster every day and is so curious about shoes, garbage cans, magazines, Marley's water bowl, Marley's tail and EVERYTHING else on his level. It's so fun to watch him cruise around.

Blast from the past

This song came onto my ipod while I was on the treadmill the other day, and gave me a burst of energy like I have never had while exercising. I felt like a little girl again. My mom would turn on our big stereo/cassette player in the basement so we could have a "clean up party". I remember so vividly dancing and singing to Fleetwood Mac with her and my brothers. How did my mom make even cleaning fun?? The song isn't quite complete for me without the sound of an old noisy vacuum running.
The video is a little creepy, but the song is awesome!! I'm so glad the first five years of my life were in the 80's!!

Rejuvination

I got to go to Arizona to spend my weekend with my good friend and old roommate Jessica. It was so fun to be with her, and nice to get away. It was just like old times sharing a room, talking a lot, eating a lot, and shopping a lot. The weather was beautiful!!

We drank a ton of 100% fresh fruit juice and bought sleeping masks.

I learned that I want one of these so super super bad!!

Jessica's parents own a Papa Murphys. I got to work for a couple hours and learn exactly how many ounces of cheese and how many pepperonis go on a pizza.

Then I made a specialty pizza just for me!

We did a lot of what I do best...laying in the sun.

I missed Treavor and Owen like CRAZY! But they did great. I came home to the humble realization that Treavor is a better housekeeper than I am. Thank you so much Treavor and Grandma Liane for making the trip possible!!!

Thank you Jess for your sweet hospitality and friendship. I miss you already.
