Summer

Over the weekend, we planted some flower pots.

It was wonderfully uneventful!!

We have loved the summer so far! We spend lots and lots of time outside. Owen loves the park, walks, and even just sitting on our porch for long periods of time. I love summer as a mom! I keep thinking back to my last big, hot, swollen ankled, painful, sleepless nights, uncomfortable summer. I was working full time, and schooling full time. I remember walking up the four flights of many, many stairs to the musty call center to put on my headset and sale security systems!! I was surrounded by about forty men and ONE other female. I remember walking around campus and sitting in class, feeling my baby kick and wondering if it would be a boy or a girl, what the baby would be like and when the baby would come.
I also remember thinking about the next summer and how it would be so fun. I would have a nine month old. I would be a full time mom. I would be playing with a baby all day every day.
Well it's here, and it's even better than I imagined!! It's fabulous!!!

These jammies made it through me and my five siblings. I love seeing Owen in them. They're super cozy, and even have a bum flap.
