Treavor has been absolutely obsessed with the new Palm
Pre since it was announced in January. He follows palm on twitter, he reads a palm blog every day, he has designed an application for the phone, that palm
pre owners will be able to purchase, he stays updated on the battle between the i phone and the palm and he knows every feature on it! I really wish there were words to describe the obsession! It keeps him up at night thinking about it. His mouth waters when he looks at the phone online. I guess I should mention that he is the first to admit that he's a "total geek". Well the phone just came out on Saturday, and the really, really sad part about the whole situation is that we can't afford it. It's a couple hundred bucks, and he knew it wasn't in our price range.
Well...there was a drawing to win a free Palm, and
Treavor of course entered and he WON!!! Two people out of the thousands to enter were chosen, and
your's truly was one of them.
Treavor says that he got the phone because he was living right, and was using so much self
discipline to not purchase it when he knew it wasn't financially smart. I say that when someone is blessed for living right, it's not through a new cell phone, and that he's just so lucky. what do you say? Either way he's a pretty happy guy these days, and he's counting down the days until it's shipped.

Clay is dying with envy! His phone died and he has also been obsessed with looking at the Pree and iphone. . . it but be a guy thing. I should tell Clay to enter a drawing because we can't afford it either. I am happy for Treav! I can't believe they made an app!!
Wow that is VERY lucky! Good for him. I miss the ward so much already and seeing you guys! Good thing for blogs so I can stay in touch.

Treav, you are a geek! But I love that you are the won who won it. Do you think that there will ever be a day that you don't talk about the phone, the apps, how much better it is than the iPhone? Just Kidding. Congrats!
that is so funny. wow I had no idea he was such a techie, he and josh would be able to talk for hours about crap like that. Josh bought a new calculator and I'm pretty sure it brought him more joy than our wedding day or the birth of our children. ; ) I can't get over that he won, that never happens.

That is the greatest story. Stuff like that happens to Brennan ALL the TIME, he just always finds a way to get what he wants. I still debate whether he's blessed or lucky. Hmmmn, maybe a little of both. Bottom line though, I'm very happy for Treavor and it is great that he was willing to go without.
