We're looking forward to Owen's 6 month check up in the next couple of weeks. Here are some comments we have received from various nurses and Dr.s at Alpine Pediatric Clinic (it seems like we've spent a lot of time there for sick and well check ups).
*All said with a small smirk, giant grin, little chuckle or full on laugh
- wow! He's really deprived isn't he?
- Yay, I love the chubby babies
- This shot shouldn't hurt, you have so much padding in your thighs
- It looks like he has a yeast infection in his thigh creases
- There might also be some in his neck rolls
- If you were nursing, I would tell you to sell that milk on ebay
- 95 percentile
- His appetite isn't as big as usual? Well you obviously don't have to worry about him getting enough.
- I'm really excited to put him on the scale
- look at all those creases in his ankles
- Is he eating you out of house and home?
- It looks like he might be grown out of his infant car seat by next visit
- 19.5 pounds
- He is THRIVING!

Oooo ankle rolls - YUM! I need to see him and eat him up!!! He is stinkin adorable! These comments totally cracked me up. You need to put those in his scrapbook. Jake was always 95th and 98th percentile on all the charts too!
It just does not get better than that! I LOVE CHUBBY BABIES. They do gets lots of attention for it too. I love all the photos.

All the more yumminess! He's so happy! Jeff was 26 lbs. at 6 months. I think his head was literally as heavy as a bowling ball. But he was beautiful. As is Owen!!

Man that kid is adorable and huge! You never have to exercise, just carry Owen around and you are good! He is awesome!
