Lewie baby boy

He turned two. 

This sweet boy is full of life. 

Since day one he has added a spirit of pure joy to our home. 

He is gentle and sweet and full of huge grins and gut laughs. He somehow strikes a balance of being a peaceful angel baby and a rough and tumble on the go energetic all-the-way boy at the same time.

We loved celebrating Lew and his two years of life. 

He woke up to balloons in his room and couldn't have been happier. Both boys played and played and we had to tear them away to get ready for church.

After church Lewie had a party with many of his favorite people. Grandma and Grandpa Peters joined us for dinner at the Bells. It was so cute to watch Lewie soak it all up!

He blew out the candles the second I put the cake in front of him and while we were still at the beginning of  "happy birthday". Then he immediately asked for more. We lit the candles three or four times and kept singing as he happily blew. 

He was the VERY gracious recipient of some barn animals, a basketball, a football, and some books and clothes from Grandparents. 

We went around the room and told Lewie what we love about him

his love for life

his big smile and energetic wave

he doesn't judge (will smile and wave at anyone)

that he's my little brother and we play with each other a lot (Owen)

We had a happy day celebrating our sunshine boy. Grandpa Bell said it was the cutest birthday party he had ever been to.
