Yesterday was the day for some much needed one on one time for me and the Owie boy.
We spent the morning at the zoo and I loved every second.
When I told him the night before what we would be doing, he got nervous and said he didn't want to go "because tigers and gorillas aren't nice". Once we got there, he completely changed his tune and was begging to go in the cages with all the animals.
We both decided giraffes are our favorite.
Such amazing creatures!
It was a good day!

I love giraffes too. Did you know that they don't have vocal chords. Random fact! :) How fun to have one on one time. Jack and I will be having one next week. I can't wait. :)

You're so smart to spend one on one time with Owen. I definitely don't do that enough. Sounds like the perfect outing, so funny Owen did such a turn-about on the scary animals. Love the pic of the two of you.
