The Bees game

Silly day at school.

Owen in the car

Mom, I'm thinking about all the things I love.
I love:
Scarves
Sea animals
Normal animals
Tornados
and
Art
And I love learning cause I'm curious and tomorrow I want to learn about cuddle fish.

this is this is the place

We spent a few hours at This is the place heritage park today. We loved everything about it...animals, horsy rides, train rides, candy store, and old little houses. The boys loved the name and cracked up saying "this is this is the place!"

We gave Owen our old little digital camera a while ago, and he has developed quite the passion for taking pictures. Especially animals. He was too busy with his own photography to be in many pictures, that's why they're all of Lewis. When I asked to take a picture of both of them on the train, Owen said "sure, with my camera too please".

Your royal fuzziness

Kit's hair has come in quick and thick, just like a spring chick. It is so fuzzy and soft and Treavor and the boys have been addressing her as "your royal fuzziness". Owen and Lewis were cracking up about it one morning and asked to make her a crown.

look-alikes

I took a picture of Kit's first time sitting up in a shopping cart the other day. It reminded me a lot of another happy, squishy photo I took about 5 years ago.

easter

Just about every year, I am surprised at how much I enjoy Easter. It always seems to come quickly with little planning or anticipation. It kind of just comes out of nowhere and ends up being the most spiritual day of the year for me. Our Church meetings were beautiful. I loved teaching in primary the basic truths of Jesus' love for each of us. Planning for that lesson and giving myself a few days to think about Christ and His sacrifice brought a new perspective for me this year in a very powerful way.

I love the beautiful spring, the fresh newness, and of course the opportunity to give extra thought and gratitude for Christ and his sacrifice for me, for repentance and for eternal life.

This year was particularly fun celebrating spring with a fuzzy new Kit and the boys, who are so excited about little things like dying eggs, scavenger hunts and rubber frogs in their baskets.
