We took a road trip. Treavor made these little maps that they colored in as we got closer to Disney Land. The car ride was totally bearable and even enjoyable. Lots of chatting, snacking, singing and playing.
We stopped in St. George for some fresh air and some cozy beds to sleep in.
And then we arrived !!
We spent 3 days in Disney land and a day at the beach. we got to stay in a fun hotel right by the park and then spent the last two nights with Treavor's aunt Suzanne's family.
The whole trip was a dream.
Treavor said a few days after we had gotten home "Something seriously magical happened on that vacation". He's right. Everything went so smoothly. The kids had the time of their lives. There was not one tantrum, breakdown, whiny voice or even a tear.
I don't know what happened because we've never experienced a day like that in our life, but it is something I never want to forget.
The boys were big and brave and tried lots of big rides. Kit was a trooper and kept up with them. she kept saying "I not thcared, owie not thcared, nobody'th thcared"
Owen was a helper and a walker and a schedule planner.
Lewis was a birthday boy and lost a tooth in the pool. Treavor went diving for it and found it!
Kit met so many princesses and wanted to ride the little mermaid ride over and over and over. We went at least 10 times.
Treavor made it all happen. Dads work hard on trips and we owe it all to him. When his kids are happy, he's happy.
I loved being by the ocean (even though it was chilly) and with my sweet family.
