Kitty had a birthday

Kit's had it rough the last little while, between teething and being sick, she's been kind of miserable. Her birthday was accompanied by two ear infections, a sore throat, a fever and a runny nose. Although we couldn't celebrate much and she was under the weather, I think she knew it was a special day about her. 

She woke up to pink balloons in her bedroom. 

She got to have a special outing with Gram. They went to the bookstore and chose a sweet little girl book and a cozy stuffed lamb.

We had cafe rio for dinner. She LOVES black beans!

And then she opened a baby doll stroller. She was so excited about that and took right off walking around the room with it. at one point she took a break from pushing to pick up my phone, put it to her ear and said "hi". We all cracked up and Owen said "she thinks she's a mom!!!"

It was a girly birthday, with a new doll from Grandma Kat and some pretty new shoes from Mally.

This sweet baby girl has been a blessing and a joy since the day she was born. At one year old she gives soft gentle kisses with a quiet "mmmwa" she laughs at anything her brothers say to her. she dances bouncing her booty up and down. She is busy emptying cupboards and garbage cans and anything she can get her pudgy paws on. She has the cutest two bottom teeth and pretty strawberry hair. She says "hi" all the time and is almost always happy. What a lucky mamma I am with such a full heart.
